Everything a queue needs

What happens at the door, in the waiting room and at the counter, and what the app keeps for you after.

The NextPass app on a tablet: the number now serving with its buttons beside the list of customers waiting.

Screens on this page show sample data.

At the door

Print the poster from the app and put it where customers walk in. They scan it with the phone camera and get a number.

  • No app to install and no account
  • One poster for each queue, or one for all of them
  • Pro can ask for a phone confirmed by SMS

While they wait

The live page shows their number, how many are ahead and about how long it will be. It chimes when they are next and again when they are called.

  • English or Bahasa Melayu, chosen by the customer
  • Works in the phone’s own browser
  • They can leave the queue from the page
A customer's phone showing their number A027, 2 ahead of them, about 6 minutes to wait, and A024 now serving.

At the counter

The number now serving is the biggest thing on the screen, with Call next under your thumb. Skip, Recall and Done sit right under the number.

  • Add walk-ins with an optional name and phone
  • Rooms and counters, so the TV says where to go
  • Phone, tablet, or the web dashboard at a desk
A queue in the NextPass app: A023 now serving in Room 2, the buttons Skip, Recall and Done, the next three numbers, and Call next A024.
Add customer in the NextPass app: an optional name and phone, with 11 ahead of them.

On the TV

Any TV or computer browser becomes the board. It shows the number being served, the room or counter, and the next numbers, in both languages.

  • Add a TV with the code it shows
  • A chime with each call, if you turn it on
  • Pro takes the NextPass mark off the TV
The NextPass TV board: P011 now serving at Counter 1, A024 at Room 2, and the next numbers A025, P012, A026 and P013.

After the day

Reports count who was served, the average wait and the no-shows for each day. Today and yesterday on Free; 90 days and your busiest hours on Pro.

  • A morning summary of yesterday
  • Names and phone numbers deleted after 90 days
  • Numbers start again from 001 every day
Reports in the NextPass app: 80 served today, a 9 minute average wait, 2 no-shows and a chart of customers served each day.
